What is FTC?

FTC stands for FIRST Tech Challenge. It is designed for 7-12 graders. Teams are responsible for designing, building, and even programming their robots to compete with other teams in competitions hosted year-round. Awards are given for the competition, community outreach, design, and many other real-world opportunities. There are currently over 4,500 teams participating in FTC.

Who is First?

FIRST® inspires young people to be science and technology leaders and innovators by engaging them in exciting mentor-based programs that build science, engineering, and technology skills, that inspire innovation, and that foster well-rounded life capabilities including self-confidence, communication, and leadership.

What Do Students Get to Do?
